みんなを繋ぐ縁側のある家 / House with “Engawa” connecting all of us

敷地を囲む大きな縁側が、室内のギャラリー・アトリエを始め、景色のよい場所や屋外展示スペース、休憩や話ができる場所などいろんなところを繋ぎ、訪れた人がアートも越後妻有も楽しむことができる家の提案です。
縁側で囲まれ、家の中のアトリエと一体の大きな土間は、アーティストと地域の人々が一緒に活動でき、オーストラリアと越後妻有の交流が生まれ、アート作品と人の繋がりができていきます。

We propose a big ENGAWA surrounding the whole site. ENGAWA suddenly appears in the nature of Echigo-Tsumari which is well seen from the outside and attract people. The visitors will be more attracted through such experience not only as viewing artworks but as viewing artists creating works or local habitants having interaction with artists there. We believe that the exchange among Australia and Echigo-Tsumari will advance through sharing the time and the space such as ENGAWA or the courtyard together.
